I just started reading the book about real estate. This book is recommended by Grant Sabatier on his recent post “11 Best Fire (Financial Independence Retire Early) Books,” which was ranked as number 9, but highly praised by Grant as THE real estate book to have for beginners and coincedentally, this was also recommended by Paula Pantt’s Afford Anything community group.
Reitre Early with Real Estate by Chad Carson
The reason I started with this book is that I’m starting to observe a pattern among early retirees, i.e. they all have dabbled with Real Estate. I know it can be scary to take out a huge loan and not know what to do especially if you’re new to real estate investing.
This is probably my first step into investing in real estate and I have some fear that I will fail at some level, but since I have a vast community behind me, and we always want to take small steps, we can incrementally correct our ways in case we start diverging from the frequently traveled path. So even if I do end up taking a longer road (mistakes here and there), I have some confidence that I will still be able to make it to the destination (not completely fail).
